Whether newly diagnosed, in the fight, or in remission, you are a survivor. As a survivor and a caregiver, we want to come alongside to offer support, hope and prayer. No one should go on this journey alone.
Finding Peace with Cancer is a care group providing emotional and spiritual encouragement for adults on their cancer journey, including caregivers.

You were made for more than a love/hate relationship with your body. Far from a superficial issue, self-image is a spiritual issue, because God has named your body good from the beginning. In this class we will work to rename our bodies as "good", rest in God's workmanship, and seek restoration and freedom in Jesus' name.

Your emotions are an overflow and expression of your heart, revealing what you care most about. Your heart is at the center of who you are as a person and is always living in relationship with God. In this way emotions can help you notice and then evaluate what you love. But emotions can at times be confusing, making it hard to know and express your thoughts, desires, and concerns. In response to this confusion, people tend to either embrace or avoid their emotions. What you will learn through this study is that God invites you to engage with your emotions by engaging with him.
